Obagi Medical is a global specialty pharmaceutical company founded by leading skin care experts in 1988. Obagi medical grade and prescription products are designed to help minimize the appearance of premature skin aging, skin damage, hyperpigmentation, spot prone skin and sun damage and are only available through doctors, dentists, nurses and dermatologists. Many of the products require a prescription; we only ever advise or prescribe Obagi following a full consultation and skin analysis.
Obagi has four systems, which are targeted specifically for different skin conditions.
Obagi Nu Derm System
Nu Derm system transforms the skin from the inside out. There are two distinct systems one prescription only and the other available effectively over the counter
Skin aging is a natural process but daily sun exposure can contribute to premature aging, sun damaged skin appears dull, with older, damaged cells accumulating due to slower skin turnover.
The Nu-Derm system is ideal if you have age spots, rough skin, Erythema (red skin), sallowness (yellow skin), Hyperpigmentation (discolouration) and lines and wrinkles.
Obagi Nu Derm does have some downtime such as dryness and flaking skin. Which subsides once the skin begins to tolerate the product.
Obagi-C Rx System for Normal to Dry Skin
A complete skin care regimen specifically formulated for normal to dry skin This is a prescription only system and is only available following a comprehensive consultation with one of our prescribing nurses.
It is perfect for early intervention and prevention of skin damage.
With prescription only active ingredients to help reduce hyperpigmentation, such as dark spots and melasma, as well as the powerful antioxidant 10% L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) that helps defend against free radicals..
CLENZIderm M.D System
This complete system is specifically formulated for normal to oily skin to help treat spot prone skin. Once again some of this system require a prescription so requires a full medical consultation.
The bacteria that causes spot prone skin, flourishes deep in the pores making them difficult to reach. CLENZiderm M.D is uniquely formulated to target the bacteria at the source and refine pores and clear away dead skin cells. It is a full regime, which can be gradually increased or decreased depending on the severity of the condition.
Obagi360 System
Obagi360 is an ideal system for younger patients. A unique combination of effective ingredients provides early intervention for loss of radiance and resilient feel; the appearance of minimal fine lines and wrinkles; dull complexion, uneven skin texture and dry skin.
Obagi Blue Peel Radiance
A quick superficial salicylic acid-based facial chemical peel that exfoliates and helps improve overall complexion, and provides firmer, smoother, brighter-looking skin after just one use. A series of four to six peels provides best overall results. Blue Peel Radiance is ideal for patients who have concerns with fine lines and wrinkles, rough, uneven skin, blemishes and mild to moderate sun damage.
